Housecall Pro Marketing

We market carpet cleaners who run their business on Housecall Pro.

We're a full-service marketing team for carpet cleaning companies, and Housecall Pro is the field-service platform we know best — websites, SEO, local SEO, and Local Services Ads, Google and Meta on Growth. On Housecall Pro accounts we set tracking up around what Housecall Pro can report, so booked jobs carry their source inside Housecall Pro.

What changes

Here is what changes for your business.

What Housecall Pro can tell you

Every customer and job has a Lead Source field, with a built-in “My Website (Online Booking)” source. Booking links can carry tracking attributes that tag the job. Call-tracking numbers tie calls to a lead source. Used properly, that's real attribution — inside the system where your revenue lives.

Where Google Analytics stops

Housecall Pro's help center doesn't document Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads or Meta Pixel support inside the online booking window, or capture of UTM tags or click IDs. It does offer a redirect to a page on your own domain after booking — which is where we pick the trail back up.

Built around how carpet cleaners use Housecall Pro

Local Services Ads leads can land in Housecall Pro's Job Inbox, review requests go out automatically after jobs, and past customers sit in one list for recall campaigns. We build the marketing around those habits instead of fighting them.

What's included

Here is what we deliver.

SEO, local SEO and websites

Foundation moves your site onto our platform and covers SEO and local SEO. Growth adds a new custom website, Local Services Ads, Google Ads and Meta.

Our own website forms

Our forms replace generic contact forms. Each lead carries a 90-day first-party attribution cookie: gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, the five UTM fields, first referrer and first landing page.

Tagged booking links

Every link to your Housecall Pro online booking carries a tracking attribute per channel, so the job shows where it came from inside Housecall Pro.

A GA4 event on the booking click

The last step the website can see. We count it as booking intent, and use Housecall Pro's post-booking redirect to an on-domain thank-you page to count completed bookings — tested on every install.

Calls counted as the heavier conversion

Phone calls are weighted above booking clicks. Call-tracking numbers are tied to Housecall Pro lead sources.

Lead source discipline

A simple rule set for your office so every job gets a source, plus monthly spend entered in Housecall Pro's ROI Table. On MAX, booked or completed jobs can be sent back to Google Ads as offline conversions.

How it works

Here is how the work runs.

  1. Step 1

    Get admin access

To see the schedule, lead sources and booking settings, and connect integrations.

  2. Step 2

    Add our forms and tracking

We move your site onto our platform, with the 90-day attribution cookie on every form.

  3. Step 3

    Tag and track booking

Tracking attributes on booking links, a GA4 event on the click, and the post-booking redirect set up and tested.

  4. Step 4

    Read jobs by source

Lead Source and ROI Table in Housecall Pro, read alongside GA4 and call tracking — calls weighted heavier.

Pricing

Foundation is $599 a month. Growth is $1,000 a month, and you pay ad spend directly to Google and Meta. Both plans run month to month, and there is no setup fee.

FAQ

Here are the questions we hear most.

Can you track Housecall Pro bookings in Google Analytics?
Not natively — Housecall Pro's help center doesn't document Google Analytics or tag support inside online booking. So we track the click on your “Book online” button as a GA4 event, and use the post-booking redirect to an on-domain thank-you page to count completed bookings. Full answer here.
Where does booking source show up?
In Housecall Pro's Lead Source field on the customer and job. Bookings through your website can carry the built-in “My Website (Online Booking)” source, and booking links with tracking attributes tag the job with the channel.
What do your website forms capture?
A 90-day first-party cookie stores gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, the first referrer and the first landing page. Those go with every lead. The same setup runs on this site.
Do Local Services Ads leads go into Housecall Pro?
They can. Housecall Pro's Job Inbox integrates with Google Local Services Ads, and carpet cleaning is a supported category. Note that Housecall Pro groups Local Services Ads and Reserve with Google bookings under one “Google” channel.
If someone unsubscribes in Mailchimp, do Housecall Pro's emails stop?
Don't assume so. Housecall Pro's Mailchimp sync is documented as one-way, from Housecall Pro to Mailchimp. Opt the contact out in Housecall Pro too.
Do I need the MAX plan?
No. Online booking and review requests are on every plan. API keys and webhooks are MAX-only, so automated offline-conversion uploads to Google Ads need MAX (or a Zapier setup — Housecall Pro's own pages disagree on which plan includes Zapier, so we check yours).
Do I have to use Housecall Pro?
No. It's our specialty, not a requirement. On Jobber, ServiceTitan, Workiz or anything else, we link your site to its scheduler and track what we can.
What do I own?
Every asset we build and all your data, from day one.
